WINTER SPORTS — The Lookout Pass Free Ski School starts its 76 th year on Jan. 9 for kids ages 6-17.

The resort’s professional instructors are being joined by Ski School volunteers to ensure that each kid gets started on the road to skiing and snowboarding with lessons.

The school is limited to the first 500 students to register.

Classes will run every Saturday through March 15.   Beginners go 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.  Intermediate  and advanced skier classes run 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m .

Expect too see lots of little ones on the slopes on Saturday mornings.

And, of course, many of them will continue skiing or snowboarding when they’re not-so-little ones.
