Citizens voices stifled
On Jan. 4, the Spokane City Council voted 5-2 to limit discussion at council meetings, Only once a month will an individual be allowed to speak at council meetings. Only once a month.
Thus, freedom of speech is limited. Information about crime and the condition of city streets will be narrowed. The voice of we the people has become stifled.
