Tedder Industries buys Outlet Mall

Tedder Industries, a North Idaho gun holster manufacturer, has purchased the outlet mall in Post Falls. The 6-year-old company will consolidate its operations in about half of the space. CEO Thomas Tedder said he’ll be looking for tenants to lease the rest of the space. “This won’t be an outlet anymore — I don’t think it works here,” said Tedder, who said he’ll be looking to transform the long-vacant stores to other uses besides retail. Tedder, 37, started the holster company in his kitchen. Tedder Industries now employs about 300 people.
