Hump Day Wild Card — 1.27.15

Today, I attended the annual SR luncheon at the Davenport Hotel/Spokane for compadres who have reached their 25th year of service with the newspaper. Jim Meehan, the Gonzaga Bulldog sports scribe and long-time pal, was among those honored. Traveling partner Greg Lee & I have been breaking big rocks into little ones for the SR for 32 years. We were hired about two weeks apart. Both have spent the entire time operating out of the Coeur d’Alene office. Greg is No. 8 in the SR newsroom in terms of seniority. I’m No. 9. I’m looking forward to trying the whole thing again next year. Here’s your Hump Day Wild Card …
