Eatery boots veteran w/service dog

PRIEST LAKE, Idaho — A Facebook post about a veteran being kicked out of a Priest Lake restaurant because of his service dog has sparked outrage all over the internet.

The post, written by Scott Yochum, said on the Fourth of July the bartender at Nordman kicked him out because of his service dog, Lady. Yochum said in the post that he is a disabled veteran and requires a service dog. He said the bartender and owner, Ben Votava, told him they have the right to refuse service to anyone.

“I am the one who dealt with him and there was a miscommunication on my part that was inappropriate,” said Votava/Taylor Viydo, KREM 2. More here.

Question: Apology accepted?
