At about 12:30 p.m. today, a boy enjoying Tubbs Hill slipped on the rocks above the water and fell to the rocks below. Fire crews provided medical aid and transported the patient via fireboat to the ambulance waiting at Third Street dock. Then, he was taken to Kootenai Health, and a level 1 trauma alert was called to the hospital. The patient is a minor and his parents have been notified.
