Wild Card/Thursday — 7.7.16

Today is garbage collection day in the Borah Triangle — or not. If we’re going according to the old Waste Management schedule, we won’t have garbage service until Friday, due to the 4th of July holiday. I didn’t put my trash bins out, none of the four of them, anticipating the skipped day. Some of my neighbors did. Some put all 4 bins out. Some put 2 bins out, the Waste Management ones. Some put two bins out and two bins behind them. At the city, Sam Taylor has done his best to clear up the confusion re: how residents should handle trash and bin collection this month. Alas, confusion reigns. I suspect Coeur d’Alene Garbage and Waste Management will get this all sorted out this month. So I’ll post today’s Wild Card and hope that Coeur d’Alene Garbage didn’t collect trash in my hood today …
