Crash injures 3 Legion officers

Three officers from Post Falls American Legion Post 143 were injured in a crash on Highway 95, just south of Plummer Saturday. Ron Johnson, judge advocate for Post 143, confirmed the officers involved in the crash were Commander Dennis Wheeler, Vice Commander Doug Wheeler and Adjutant Chuck Buttz. All three were transported to Kootenai Health with injuries. “As far as what injuries there are, at this point we do not know, we just hope that everybody is going to be fine,” Johnson said Saturday afternoon.
