Trump (44%) leads Clinton (23%) in Idaho

Donald Trump is ahead of Hillary Clinton by almost 2-to-1 in the latest statewide presidential poll in Idaho . The poll also shows men are significantly more likely to support Trump than women. And it shows a good deal of dissatisfaction on both sides of the aisle with the two presumptive major-party nominees, with only three-quarters of self-identified Democrats and Republicans saying they plan to vote for Clinton and Trump, respectively. Trump, who will likely be the Republican Party’s presidential nominee after this week’s convention, has 44 percent support statewide compared to 23 percent for Clinton. Five percent of respondents said they would vote for Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, 3 percent for Green Party candidate Jill Stein, 14 percent said someone else other than those four and 7 percent are undecided/ Nathan Brown , On the Agenda blog, Twin Falls Times-News. More here.

Question: Trump, of course, is going to win in Idaho. But only 44%? Really?
