Letter: In praise of millennials
In a letter to the Coeur d’Alene Press, Sasha Fisher of Coeur d’Alene comments:
Millennials are often unfairly described as being the generation of self-entitled, narcissistic, basement dwelling, video gaming college students who still live with their parents. I would like to respectfully debunk that stereotype with some facts. Did you know millennials are now the largest, most diverse generation in the U.S. population? Did you know more millennials have a college degree than any other generation of young adults? Did you know millennials actually stay with their employers longer than Generation X workers did at the same ages? They are more likely to have been with their employer for a fairly long period like 3 to 6 years! Did you know the millennial generation makes up a third of the work force? Though virtually connected more than ever, the millennial generation is also very keen on spending time with family. More here.
Question: Do you have an opinion re: millennials?
