Resent ‘report card’

Does anyone else resent the “report card” being sent by Avista? Are they trying to make me feel guilty?

Ever since they goofed up my bill last winter, I guess I am an energy hog. So what? I pay my bills, enjoy retirement and have built my home and shop to fit my lifestyle with features we like.

Yes, some use your monopoly of the electrical grid. I wish we had an alternative.

The Spokesman-Review invites original letters on local topics of public interest. Your letter must adhere to the following rules:

  • No more than 250 words
  • We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
  • We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
