Marilyn Monroe would be 90 years old on June 1. Her untimely death in 1962 continues to be the source of endless speculation just as her legendary “sex symbol” status is cemented in the American consciousness. But while a handful of images are inextricably linked to our memories of the star (think “The Seven Year Itch”) , early images of Monroe in Hollywood do exist.
