Sims campaigns for GOParty chairman
Here’s the campaign flier that’s being circulated by state Rep. Kathy Sims, R-Coeur d’Alene, for her challenge to Idaho GOP Chairman Steve Yates at the state party convention. Sims, who lost her re-election bid in the May primary to GOP challenger Paul Amador, touts her past service to the party, including being a former state party vice-chair and serving more than 10 years as Kootenai County GOP chair, along with her legislative service, one term in the Idaho Senate and three terms in the House. “One of the top rated legislators on the Idaho Freedom Index,” her flier proclaims, along with, “Proven Conservative.” On the back, the flier calls Sims “A Leader With A Servant’s Heart,” lists her community involvement, and has this statement on “Unity in Diversity”/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise.
