Trump is scary

My greatest fear used to be dying with money in the bank. No more since Donald Trump is about to become the standard bearer for the GOP in this year’s race for the presidency.

Not only has he insulted almost everyone on the planet, if he wins, he becomes the commander in chief of our military forces. We are still suffering from the last war president, George W. Bush. Trump displays some of the same testosterone-driven drivel used by Bush in his run up to the war in Iraq. Picturing Trump in charge of our nuclear arsenal is scary indeed.

While the politicians on the Republican side of the aisle were initially reluctant to give him their support, they are now coming on board. One of the most recent converts is our own congressional representative, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, who endorsed Trump last week. That act alone should disqualify her from public office.
