Local fair gets a new name

The fair held in Coeur d’Alene each year has a new name. The organization announced Thursday that the fair’s name has been changed to the North Idaho State Fair. Already the largest fair in the northern 10 counties of Idaho, the name change will increase the fair’s geographical presence. As the North Idaho State Fair, the area of eligible fair participants will expand from five counties to 10, giving the fair an opportunity to showcase more open class exhibit entries, as well as attract additional guests from the surrounding counties. The transition to being a state fair will also help develop new community partnerships and draw diverse vendors to the fair, further enhancing the event for all guests/ Coeur d’Alene Press . Question: Are you a regular North Idaho Fair attendee?
