As we set out to do weekend chores or enjoy the terrific outdoors that we have here, the Idaho Republicans are meeting in earnest in Nampa. Some are trying to increase their power bases. Others are trying to push their ideas on the convention and, by extension, the dominant Republican Party. Meanwhile, we at Huckleberries Online have a two-day political respite.
