Wilson will represent citizens

I recently attended a candidate forum in north Spokane to hear each of the candidates running for the 5th District of Congress present their positions. As usual, Cathy McMorris Rodgers was absent.

I have never actively campaigned for a candidate until now. I have been thoroughly disgusted with McMorris Rodgers’ lack of representation for me, our veterans, retired citizens and many hard-working people of Eastern Washington. Her allegiance is to special interest groups and big corporations.

In attending several of Dave Wilson’s town hall meetings, I’ve met both Republicans and Democrats who are equally angered and frustrated with not being represented by McMorris Rodgers. Her allegiance is to big money. I want a candidate who listens and will be responsible to the people of the 5th District.

Of the four candidates who spoke, I felt Dave Wilson (Independent) gave the best presentation. I urge all concerned voters to meet Dave Wilson and decide for themselves. Please vote.
