Appreciation RAF tribute

In response to Michael Cain’s guest opinion piece from May 21, I appreciated his tribute to the RAF Fighter Command’s participation during the Battle of Britain. Cain also recognizes the British people who stood shoulder-to-shoulder in their resistance to the Nazi “Blitz” of July 1940 to May 1941.

Having personally experienced the London Blitz as a child, I thank him for the warm and poignant recognition of all my fellow countrymen who lived through those perilous times.
