Ex-resort worker accepts plea deal

Kootenai County prosecutors said Monday that a former Coeur d’Alene Resort employee has accepted a plea deal that could see his face up to 14 years in prison. Prosecutors said Tony Parks accepted a guilty plea to one count of grand theft in May. Under the agreement, prosecutors said Parks has waived his right to appeal and no additional charges will be brought forward. Officials also said restitution is limited to $10,000 – the amount of the resort’s insurance deductible/Taylor Viydo, KREM2. More here.
