Police ID body found by river
Coeur d’Alene Police Detectives have identified the male located near the Spokane River on June 7 as 74YO Ronald Scott Winkler of Coeur d’Alene. Winkler was riding his bicycle on Centennial Trail and crashed west of the Highway 95 Bridge. The cause of Winkler’s death appears to be related to injuries sustained from crashing his bicycle.
