Is this the future?

The future?

“David Muir of ABC News reporting with the last bidding in the computer-aided Election Auction. Back in 2016, I actually doubted that it would come to this, auctioning off political offices. But when we got to the point where 95 percent of the candidates with the most money won and there got to be so many political parties, it just had to happen.

“When the deal was made that the winning bid went into the treasury and the loser got to keep the money that was bid, everybody went for it. After the Citizens United decision, the people were so outraged, they gave up on the old style elections.

“Looks like the $3.1 billion bid from the Old Rich Democratic Party will take the presidency. In state elections, package purchases of legislatures are the rage. The Bankster Party bought the legislature in Washington state when the Technology Corporations lost out.

“Here’s an interesting item. The city council of Spokane was just bought by the Spokane Valley Party. The rumor is that they got some funding from the west side of the state. But remember, these offices are all just for rent.”
