TGIF Wild Card — 6.17.16

So I’m at a family wedding in the boonies, 12 miles from Redding, Calif., last weekend when I noticed a sign on a fence post: “This property protected by the Second Amendment.” For some reason, I thought I was in Idaho, not California. It was a long trip in a relative few days, with some down time in Portland to visit Amy Dearest and Okie Doke. I’ll try to ease back into the Huckleberries blogosphere today. Taryn, of course, deserves a cap tip for another swell job running this blog beast in my absence. My vacation time is dwindling. I only have 2 weeks and a coupla days left. Alas.
