Child being manipulated

Disturbing reading about the manipulation and agenda going on in the story of “Being Rachel.” Clearly the adults in his life will be responsible for what could be a terribly confused and negative experience for him throughout his growing up period. Tomboys and effeminate young males have always existed and that will not change. Most will gravitate toward their biological sex defined at birth as they grow older.

To subvert that reality begs the question of why. I would surmise many are surprised that anyone would think it okay to have any child stand there gawking at go-go dancers in a club. Were your editors asleep when that picture slipped through or is there now a lower standard for what gets displayed in the paper?

Cowles family, I’ve been a lifelong subscriber to your paper. I’m looking for reasons to continue to be so and I keep getting reasons not to. That’s a shame. I’m about to retire and have been looking forward to many a relaxing morning with coffee and paper in hand.
