McGruber: IM 70.3 doesn’t value vols

McGruber (RE: Ironman 70.3 rising from City Park lawn ): “The new owners of Ironman from China do not value volunteers. There are very few perks besides a free t-shirt and taking crap from volunteer captains that are full of themselves and their power. At least when you volunteer with HoopFest there’s a lot of swag from appreciative sponsors. HoopFest realizes that it couldn’t happen without volunteers. The for-profit Ironman company doesn’t get the fact that without the volunteers Ironman races would never happen. And in Coeur d’Alene they have to try to recruit volunteers TWICE this summer. Good luck with that.”

Question: Does Coeur d’Alene need two Ironman events this summer?
