Taylor endorsed for court

Judge Allen C. Nielson as announced his retirement, and I want to thank him for the years of service he has given to the three counties of this judicial district.

Others have stepped forward seeking this position. Two of the candidates, Jessica Taylor and David Turplesmith, have worked as my deputies in the Stevens County Prosecutors Office. As a result, I have had opportunity to make observations of both of them with regard to integrity, maturity, temperament and judgment.

Jessica Taylor has all the qualities that will make her an excellent Superior Court judge. She is experienced, hardworking, honest and mature. I endorse her without reservation.
