Wild Card/Monday — 6.27.16

I rode my bike to work today, the second time this year that I’ve done so. I’ve been a slacker this year when it comes to bike riding. Last year, I rode my bike almost daily. Dunno why I haven’t this year. Mebbe it’s the thought of all those distracted drivers on cell phones, using the same streets. Mebbe it’s the thought of jumping on a bike for a cold ride, right out of the shower. The brilliant sunshine and warmth this morning, however, removes the second excuse. It takes me twice as long to get to work. But I arrive needing only one cup of coffee to get started. Here’s your Wild Card …
