Checking out the new Starbucks

My visiting brother, Ed, and I checked out the new Starbucks in Ironwood Square, across from Shopko. I liked it. I’ll go back. First, it’s roomier than the now vacant spot next to Super Cuts in the Albertson’s strip mall to the south. Starbucks has moved into the old brick Schlotzky’s sandwich shop building on the north side of the Ironwood Square parking lot. It has three times as much seating as its predecessor. It is conversation friendly, offering seating along the outside windows, in the middle of the shop and 5 tables or sofas south of the coffee counter. For me, it’s more convenient than the Riverstone Starbucks. My go to places for coffee at this point are Grumpy Monkey and Bakerby by the Lake. But the new Starbucks is in the running for third place.
