McMillan, Cheatham have challengers

Among new candidates filing for the Legislature so far today is Priscilla Giddings of White Bird, one of the nation’s few female fighter pilots qualified to fly the A-10, a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate who’s been a competitive weightlifter, marathoner and triathlete, and the daughter of Idaho County Sheriff Doug Giddings. She is running against Rep. Shannon McMillan, R-Silverton, in the GOP primary for House Seat A in District 7; McMillan, who is in her third term, has filed to run for re-election/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise. More here .
