So, for $2 million, Idaho taxpayers paid for the Idaho GOP to hold a presidential primary election next Tuesday that will mean little or nothing in the grand scheme of presidential politics. Well, it does look like Coeur d’Alene will receive a visit by U.S. Sen Ted Cruz Saturday, for the $2 million investment. But you’d think we might coax the Rolling Stones to play a set at the Kootenai County fairgrounds for that much cabbage. A million here. And a million there.
