Play politics, pay taxes

Isn’t it amazing how so-called Christians, like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell Jr., and other evangelists, are supporting Donald Trump? Trump didn’t even know how to say “Second Corinthians,” supports violence (waterboarding), calls whoever criticizes him “a loser,” and shows ethnic and religious intolerance.

For me, it seems like “dark money,” as mentioned in Jane Mayer’s recently published book, is involved. I have always believed church and state should be separate. If religious organizations are getting involved with politics, then they need to start paying taxes.

Too much money is being laundered through nonprofit organizations by billionaires. It is time for the billionaires and religious groups to really start paying taxes.
