Boe: Cops make North Idaho great

In a Facebook post, Keith Boe of Post Falls says the thing he likes best about North Idaho is the type of police officers we have:

“I have met chief Scott Haug of the Post Falls police department on a few different occasions and I have to say, he is the nicest guy I have probably ever met. The first time I met him was as a stranger at the Post Falls PD. I lost a telecom test set and someone turned it in. He sent me a message that he had it because my contact info was labeled on the unit so I came in and asked for him. I went up to the front desk and asked for chief Haug. Not knowing who I was or what I was there for, he came out and said, “Yes, hello”, and shook my hand, raising his eyebrows in the gentlest way and with a biggest smile on his face. The guy oozes kindness and class. He won citizen of the year last year and I couldn’t give a more resounding cheer. Anyone know him? He is seriously the nicest guy on the planet.”

Keith goes on to talk about Police Chief Keith Hutcheson of Spirit Lake, Sheriff Ben Wolfinger and Shoshone County Sheriff Mitch Alexander here.
