Brannon: Democrats get heads up

County Clerk Jim Brannon tells Huckleberries that he gave a special instruction to poll workers managing the precinct voting places for today’s somewhat confusing GOP and Constitution Party primaries. If a registered Democrat asks to register as a Republican or Constitution Party member to vote in today’s election, the poll worker will remind them that the Idaho Democratic Party will caucus on March 22. The goal, Clerk Brannon said, was to make sure that a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat doesn’t inadvertently change his or her party affiliation as a result of today’s primaries.
