Obama’s selective oath

In regards to the John Strobel’s Feb. 20 letter (“Move on, obstructionists”), Obama did take an oath to “faithfully execute” the laws of the land. Did he mean only the laws that fit the liberal agenda, or all the laws set forth by our constitution?

Surely, he has not enforced our immigration laws. Or, his idiot nuclear deal with his Iran buddies, (who, by the way, have already broken the deal), without the required two-thirds of the Senate declaring an “executive agreement.”

As for appointing a new member to the Supreme Court, he should remember that in 2006 Obama supported a filibuster to stop the appointment of Samuel Alito. Strobel and his lefty buddies seem to have forgotten that. And he is right, Obama did win in 2008 and 2012, and he lied the entire time he was getting elected. The Republicans won both houses of Congress in 2014 because of that.

Obama “can” nominate anyone he wants. But it is the Senate who will either confirm or deny his choice. And, as Strobel says: To you Constitution haters on the left, I would like to quote Justice Scalia’s immortal words: “Get over it!”
