Suspect Odom sends letter to KHQ

A letter seemingly signed by suspected gunman Kyle Odom arrived at KHQ early Tuesday. Odom remains on the run after police say he shot a Coeur d’Alene pastor six times in the back. We immediately notified the authorities about the letter he wrote to our station. Detective Jared Reneau has picked up the communication, and investigators continue to sort through the material. To protect the integrity of the investigation, we are not releasing the communication in its entirety at this time. Detective Reneau said the author, who identifies himself as Kyle Odom, does make it clear in the letter that he knew Pastor Tim Remington.
