Gas now at $1.89.9

During my walk along the waterfront today, I noticed that the Mobil station @ Garden Ave/Northwest Blvd is now selling gas for $1.89.9 and diesel for $193.9, that’s an increase for gas of 32 cents in a little over a week. Yeow. Also, I noticed:

• Flags at Independence Point and at the Coeur d’Alene Resort flying at half staff in honor of former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
• A windsurfer with the north shore all to himself to enjoy the strong southerly wind coming off the lake.
• Mobil station offering the “coldest beer in town.”
• Paul Bunyan restaurant advertising “deep friend pickles.”
