Cathyanne: Arts brings joy

Cathyanne (RE: Arts Commission vote stands ): The arts give beauty, joy and meaning to life. The Renaissance changed the world, and the paintings and music teach history. What would our homes be without art and music? Think Choirs of Angels, Michelangelo, Raphael, just to name a few examples. My violin students learn confidence, small and large motor skills. Music helps to develop parts of the brain that otherwise would not. I love the art that I see when visiting European cities. I might suggest writing to or calling your legislator in the House to share your support of this very needed Commission.
