Sims faces 2 challenges
State Rep. Kathy Sims, R-Coeur d’Alene, will face House District 4 challenges in the primary and in the general election this year, according to the list of candidates on the Secretary of State’s Web site at the moment (with the filing deadline at 5 p.m. today). Sims will be challenged by Paul Amador in the GOPrimary and by Democrat Tom Hearn in the general election, if she survives the primary. In other House District 4 races, Democrats Kristi Milan and Patrick Mitchell will vye for a chance to challenge Republican incumbent Sen. Mary Souza in the general election. And Republican Rep.
