Tina launches GoFundMe page

Tina Kunishige, who filed as a Democrat to run for Kootenai County sheriff, started a GoFundMe page (pictured) Sunday to help finance her campaign. Although Tina filed as a Democrat, she has a number of associations that would place her comfortably in the Republican Party and/or Tea Party, including (from her Web site): Oathkeepers, Constitutional Sheriff and Peace Officers’ Association, Republican Liberty Caucus, National Federation of Republican Women, Idaho Second Amendment Alliance, and National Liberty Alliance. I haven’t found any mention of Tina’s actual police experience on her Facebook wall or Web page. Tina will face the winner of the GOPrimary between incumbent Republican Sheriff Ben Wolfinger and John Green, another “Constitutional sheriff” candidate.
