Senate OKs permitless carry

The Senate has voted 27-8 in favor of SB 1389 , which allows Idahoans 21 or older to carry concealed guns without a permit inside city limits. “The Idaho Constitution does give us the right to regulate concealed carry, and we certainly still do that,” said Sen. Steve Vick, R-Dalton Gardens. “Even with the passing of this law we have many regulations on concealed carry. But this corrects in my opinion what was a wrong infringement on individuals’ rights and I’m proud to support this.” Sen. Question: The Republican Idaho Legislature doesn’t have the time to give a hearing to legislation to close the Medicaid gap for tens of thousands of working poor Idahoans. But it does have time to pass this reckless legislation that a number of police chiefs oppose. Amazing. Thoughts?
