In a post below, Herb Huseland of Bay Views tells of the passing of Hobart Jenkins, a long-time community volunteer in Bayview. I found a March 18, 2008, SR editorial that applauded Jenkins’ activism in one of the most controversial stories to hit the small Lake Pend Oreille town. You can read it here.
