Search under way for missing 86YO

Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for a missing person in the Post Falls area. At 1 p.m. today, deputies were called to the 2400 block of W. Cannon Avenue, near McGuire Road for a missing person. The missing person is Floyd D. Burge. 86, of Post Falls.
According to his wife, Floyd went for a walk about four hours ago, but was only going to be gone for about 45 minutes. Floyd is described to be 5’11, 185 lbs, gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan hat, tan coat and blue jeans. Floyd is reported to have Alzheimer’s disease, but otherwise is in good physical health. Floyd commonly takes morning walks around the home on Cannon, and will walk north on McGuire Road or to the Centennial Trail; his route of travel is unknown. Area law enforcement agencies have been notified and are assisting in the search. If anyone has seen Floyd Burge, please contact 911/ Lt Stu Miller , Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department.
