Or are the elected governing officials reckless when it comes to spending our money: $2 million to underwrite a presidential primary that should have been held during the May primaries, per usual. $2.1 million in lost legal defenses of constitutional sovereignty issues (with more to come) and now House Speaker Bedke and Senate Pro-Tem Hill are asking for $8 million to possibly settle the lost Idaho Education Network suit that could cost Idaho tens of millions (as a result of corporate cronyism). $2 million here, $8 million there, and pretty soon you’re talking big money. But none of the see-hear-speak no evil minion who balked at the $1.9 million budget for the Idaho Commission on the Arts seem to care about the waste that occurs year after year. Amazing. But true.
