Sanders returning to Spokane

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders returns to Spokane Thursday, one of three campaign stops he’ll make later this week for rallies in some of the state’s biggest venues. The Vermont senator will be at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum for an afternoon rally, his campaign announced Wednesday morning. Doors at the southwest entrance will open at 9 a.m. Thursday, but the program isn’t scheduled to start until 2 p.m. After Spokane, Sanders travels to Yakima, for another rally at the Yakima Valley SunDome at State Fair Park, where he’s scheduled to appear at an event that starts at 7 p.m. Thursday.
