ACLU urges Bible-in-schools bill veto
The American Civil Liberties is asking Idahoans to urge Gov. Butch Otter to veto a bill that would allow the Bible in public schools as a reference book: ” The Senate passed it, the House passed it, and now it’s on the governor’s desk. The bill to allow the Bible to be used in schools as a reference text in any classroom is about to become law. Tell Gov. Otter to VETO this bill, and keep the Bible out of science class.” More here.
