Bernie returns to Spokane
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders told supporters this afternoon for the second time in less than a week that Spokane is ready for a political revolution. Sanders started his hour-long speech arguing that the Democratic Party needs the strongest candidate to beat Donald Trump. “You’re looking at him,” he said. Washington will hold its Democratic caucus on Saturday, and Sanders is making another swing through the state today, starting at the arena. He urged the crowd to attend the caucus and said when working-class and young people participate, he does well. “We are treating the American people with intelligence,” he said. “And even more radical for modern politics, we are telling the truth”/ Nicholas DeShais , SR.
