Sanders returns to Spokane today

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will return to Spokane today, one of three campaign stops he’ll make this week for rallies in some of the state’s biggest venues. The Vermont senator will hold an afternoon rally at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, his campaign announced Wednesday morning. Doors on the northeast side will open at 9 a.m. today, but the program isn’t scheduled to start until 2 p.m. After Spokane, Sanders will travel to Yakima for a rally at the Yakima Valley SunDome at State Fair Park, an event at 7 p.m. Thursday.
