The department will honor the memory of Sgt. Moore with a ceremony at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Fallen Heroes Plaza at Cherry Hill Park, 1718 N. 15th St., Coeur d’Alene. Moore was killed in the line of duty on May 5, 2015. A balloon release to celebrate Sgt. Moore’s life will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Independence Point.
