Why vote for CMR?

I have been thinking about Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ voting record. She voted against women receiving equal pay for equal work as men (Lily Ledbetter Act). She’s against the $15 minimum wage, and yet makes a six-figure salary with lots of benefits and perks for doing what? She voted for the Keystone XL pipeline (I was against it), a huge corporate agenda. The pipeline was to be built through Nebraska, which I understand is at a higher risk for earthquakes due to fracking.

She voted for the 2015 changes to the Toxic Substances Control Act Modernization, which I understand will prevent litigation against large corporations like Monsanto for contaminating our environment with toxic and carcinogenic chemicals (PCBs and the Spokane River).

In October 2013, she, along with Sen. Ted Cruz and other Tea Party Republicans, forced the shutdown of the government, which I felt jeopardized our national security (Fairchild Air Force Base). Why are we voting for her?
