350 to walk at NIC commencement

The North Idaho College 2016 Commencement Ceremony will be held in Christianson Gym at 10 a.m. Friday. About 350 graduation candidates are expected to walk this year out of about 1,000 eligible for graduation. This year’s speaker at the commencement ceremony will be NIC physics instructor David Thompson. Thompson earned a master’s degree in physics from Colorado State University in 1990 and then spent two years teaching physics in the Peace Corps in Ghana West Africa. In 1996, he earned his PhD in chemistry from Purdue University, where his dissertation topic was Chaos Theory/ Tom Greene , NIC News Room. More here.
