Amador doubles up on Rep Sims
In the GOPrimary race for the House District 4B seat, challenger Paul Amador has raised more than twice as much money — total — then three-term incumbent Kathy Sims, R-Coeur d’Alene. Amador’s campaign finance report shows that he has raised $18,155 to date, compared to Sims’ $7,657 (including a 48-hour report of $1,000 from the Idaho Automobile Dealers Association). Sims has also loaned her campaign $6,257. Amador, a University of Idaho/CdA administrator has received $1,000 contributions from Ann Amador, Michael R Amador, Michael L Amador, Todd Brinkmeyer, and Shelly Smith. In the most recent reporting period, Rep Sims has received $500 in donations from Idaho Committee for Hospitality & Sports, IBWDA PAC, Idaho Farm Bureau Agri-PAC and Winning for Idaho.
